YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick #1 e #8

Esses batons da YSL sempre aparecem nas revistas tanto japonesas como ocidentais, e sempre estão no top 10 de produtos favoritos das modelos. Eu precisava testar pra ver se era verdade!

Comprei os números #1 e #8




O #1 se chama "Nude Beige" e é uma cor nude com sub-tom rosado (meu favorito) e também é o que mais aparece nas revistas, só perde para o "lingerie pink".



Vocês podem ver pela embalagem que ele tem uma textura meio melequenta, ele suja a embalagem na hora de voltar pra dentro da bala. Não costumo levar ele dentro da bolsa mas imagina isso aí num dia de sol aqui no Ceará? MEDA!

O #8 se chama "Fetish Pink" e é um rosa pink mais quente.



Ele tem a textura bem diferente do #1, não é melequento e não fica "derretendo" dentro da bala.




Além da diferença na textura vocês conseguem notar nas fotos na boca que o #1 tem tipo uns "carocinhos"? Foi o que eu achei mais estranho da primeira vez que passei, ele tem tipo aquelas pedrinhas de esfoliante sabe? Vi reviews por aí e não achei ninguém comentando nada disso.
A duração deles é ok, não duram essas maravilhas mas também não saem com qualquer copo de água, não curti o cheiro deles também =/
MAS FALA SÉRIO NÉ? EXISTE EMBALAGEM MAIS RYKAH, PHYNA E GLAMOUROSA DO QUE ESSA???
Esses "probleminhas" que eu achei poderiam ser o suficiente pra eu nunca mais querer usar esses batons, mas uma coisa me intriga muito a respeito do local aonde comprei eles... Eles foram comprados na ACW por cerca de 25 dólares cada (o que não é nada barato) mas na Sephora eles custam 35 dólares! Tudo bem uma loja ter preços um pouco mais em conta do que a outra, mas dez dólares é muita coisa! Fico me perguntando se eles não têm algum defeito de fabricação, ou se estão vencidos (na caixinha não diz nada), enfim, não é possível que eu esteja esnobando Haute couture dessa forma né? haha

Um dia quando eu tiver 35 obamas pra dar em algum outro batom da linha (Porque o lingerie pink é lindo de morrer) eu volto aqui pra falar se encontrei diferenças ou não =]

Alguém mais aqui já testou esses batons? Comentem =]

Oh, REVLON......YOU DISAPPOINT ME!!

So I was waiting at london drugs for my dear mother to finish shopping, when I came across this super cute nail color from Revlon! I know this color is a season back or so...first launched by YSL.....but I have been looking for a grey nail polish that isn't gonna cost me $30......and well ladies, this nail polish was on sale for $2.99!!!!! K, enough said...SO I got home and I tried it...I was SUPER amazed at how nicely it went on...bold color, dried quick (as the label said)



and I was super satisfied...until 2 days later.....IT started CHIPPING! IT CHIPS LIKE MAD!! I practically hafta re-apply a coat everynight! that's pretty ridiculous ya?
WELL LESSON LEARNED....dun be suckered into cheap pretty things......

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!
but on a happier note, in the midst of the "FINALS" blues from school, I was able to use MY STUDENT DISCOUNT at CLUB MONACO today!!! boo on the nails but yay on the shirt!

Devil wears PRADA.............IN PINK!

I got my inspiration from the movie "devil wears Prada".
 I swear after that movie, when the word Prada was mentioned you'd think of a sexy but devilish image (well the poster) and so I'm gonna defy that by an opposite image with softer colors and small detailing to make you look more angelic? K, that definitely was not the word to explain it, k maybe cute would be a better choice of words.
ANYWHO since PINK in all shades are classic spring colors, that steered my look into this direction.

the color is a bit washed out, it is actually more of a creamy pink, hence the picture in the corner!

From the small details, a.k.a bow hair clip, cupcake necklace and floral tank the outfit isn't just a CUTE outfit but  cute-CHIC and with the Prada shoes, cute-chic-ELEGANT<3

numero three: LIP COLOR

Hey  make-up is an accessory too! so with this outfit here's some PINKs that goes! light for day and brighter for night!
I have super small, thin and pale lips so it is hard for me to pull off bright colors, even when I have simple eye make-up, hence my brightest pink ain't really that bright. Also I know there are many many MANY pinks out there so I say go explore, but heres what looks good on me!!(I put two sets of lighting)

When I wear lipstick, I hafta finish off with a lip gloss, its like the cherry on top, it just doesn't look the same without it!


TIP: if you want the TRUE color of the lipstick, get some concealer to take down your original lip color! I use a "lip concealer" but regular foundation or concealer will do!

Being a student, I dress like a bum practically everyday, so it makes me happy dressing up over the weekend to go out, and esp. when it's starting to get warm outside, new outfits pop up in my head~!
SOoOOOo I wanted to make a new outfit without really buying anything new.....after some thought......
my first outfit inspiration came from my YSL clutch!
It is my fav color of all time, PURPLE
and what is the opposite color of purple?



YELLOW!!!
and conveniently I have some yellow Micheal Kors pumps to go with it!





and so here it is, a simple outfit I put together! It is cute, warm and pretty casual!
but take the cardi off and u got urself a pretty chic, out-on-the-town on a saturday night outfit :)
