hat to heel

i love this hat, it is the kind of buy that you try on and cant get out of your head...it was a little pricey but i couldnt shake the feeling that i had to have the hat..i went back the next day and bought it, its made by top knot, they are an awesome brand but very hard to find, i found mine at slow boutique on melrose...check them out here
the skirt by blu moon is killer, it makes an outfit..but i am particularly in love with the shoes, not just because they are killer but because they were the first gift j got me for christmas, they are 6 inches and insane...love them..snapped a few pics before running around in them today

what's your tree

just let J take a few pics of me over the last few days...we took a trip through the hinderland and it was so beautiful..and then amidst all this beauty i saw this really beautiful huge tree that had been carved into for probably 20 years, a lot of forevers, it was such an amazing juxtaposition of 2 different kinds of beauty...personally i love to mix stripes...and sometimes throwing in a bandana can just make an outfit a little more fun... its reminded me of this tree..

pattern for the day

just a few snaps...vintage california t-shirt, old levi shorts and leather belt that used to belong to my dad before i took it out of his closet, the scarf is from a chemist 2 for $20, my sister got the same one...i just needed a lot of color in my day...it rained later on and the scarf came in handy when a i had to dart to my car
