Happy New Year everyone!
I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has came and visited my blog, read it, looked at the pictures, followed it, commented, tweeted and emailed me about it over the past year.
You have all helped shape this blog into what it is now!
I am so grateful that you enjoy what i post and write about and it means so much that you take the time out to say such lovely things about it and follow it's progress.
There are so many amazing blogs out there and somehow a few of you have found this one here and stuck by it, which really does mean a lot!
I am so excited to keep posting here and trying to make Is This Real Life? the best it can be.....
I will finish the post with one of my favourite passages of all time, this carries such an important message and i really hope it helps you get the New Year off to an inspiring start...
So here is to 2011, a year in which we will all shine, I'm sure of it!

Our Deepest Fear- Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
