A Moment..

You know when you see a shoe and you are like 'Wow' but you can't work out wither its a good 'Wow' or a bad one, if you know what I mean..?
That's what i felt when i saw this shoe
But i have officially decided it's a good 'Wow' from me
Something about the dramatic contrast between the gold and black, that really shouldn't work but really does...
You may have seen this style before on PPQ's S/S 2011 catwalk as Office were the footwear suppliers for the show(I am guessing that is not the right term but it's late and i really can not think of the correct one...Ha)

An Award For Whimsy Couture

Yippie!! I got another blog award! The STYLISH blogger AWARD!!! These awards are really fun & come with a couple things to do along with acceptance:

1) I studied marketing in Germany but never made a career out of it
2) My favorite way to cook is slow cooking (crock pot), perfect for busy Mom's;)

what's your tree

just let J take a few pics of me over the last few days...we took a trip through the hinderland and it was so beautiful..and then amidst all this beauty i saw this really beautiful huge tree that had been carved into for probably 20 years, a lot of forevers, it was such an amazing juxtaposition of 2 different kinds of beauty...personally i love to mix stripes...and sometimes throwing in a bandana can just make an outfit a little more fun... its reminded me of this tree..
